U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo complained about European allies’ responses to the U.S. strike that killed a top Iranian general. “Frankly, the Europeans haven’t been as helpful as I wish that they could be,” Pompeo said in an interview late Friday with Fox News, describing his discussions with allies about the assassination of Major General Qassem Soleimani in Iraq. European leaders have urged restraint in the wake of the killing. While Iranian provocations had been “dangerous,” German Foreign Minister Maas tweeted on Friday, for example, “This action has not made it easier to reduce tensions. I made this point clearly to @SecPompeo as well.” Pompeo said the response from U.S. allies in the Middle East had been “fantastic,” while others “haven’t been quite as good.”

    The information that Iran’s Qassem Soleimani had an appointment with the PM in Baghdad and came to Iraq to meet him the next day with established appointment, ***following a request of Trump for mediation***. . . ”

    This statement was read to all MPs today by the Iraqi PM himself.

  2. Voor de psychopaat Trump, zoals voor psychopaten in het algemeen geldt:

    The (international) law does not or should not apply to them.

    Nu bedreigt hij weer (Iraans) cultuurgoed, wat ook tot het wereld erfgoed behoort.

    Dat is *typisch hondsbrutaal grensoverschrijdend* psychopatisch crimineel gedrag.

  3. Nederland en trouwens bijna alle EU-landen betrekken hun crude oil van Iran. Vandaar hun “houding”. Escaleren zal dit conflict verder niet want daar staat China (met afstand de grootste afnemer van Iranese crude oil) tussen.

    Overigens: wat zouden de Amerikanen er van vinden als hun legerleiders op een sneaky manier door Iran zouden worden vermoord? Hoe dan ook: voor de edelmetaal-bezitters is dit conflict weer een mooie opsteker zoals trouwens alle politieke, financiële en militaire bagger gunstig is voor de edelmetaal bezitters.

    Je zit in hun systeem….of je bent er tijdig uitgestapt.

    1. Ik zeg het nog maar eens: als je niet weet hoe ons financiële systeem in elkaar zit kan je er ook nooit achter komen waarom je dit enige door misdadigers aangeboden leven hebt.
